I’m an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach I specialize in metabolism. My mission is to help women connect with and understand what’s going on in their complicated bodies. So they can RESTORE their health for good.
I teach women how to use whole-food nutrition, movement, exercise, self-care, rest, and faith to restore their health and well-being.

I entered perimenopause without a roadmap.

At 45, I went through a radical hormone shift and it went something like this...

I woke up one morning and found everything that used to reside on my rump had shifted and relocated to my waist. I couldn’t button my jeans.

Overnight my waist became the landing strip for everything I ate. I call this the hormonal shapeshift!

At the flip of the switch, my mood would jump from being on top of the world to wanting to just crawl under the covers.

And, the brain fog! Please tell me I'm not the only one who sometimes puts the yogurt in the pantry when unpacking the groceries.

Even though I had been a personal trainer and nutrition coach for 20 years and helped hundreds of women find their best state of health, I was suddenly struggling with my health.

I felt like I had no control over what was happening to my body. At the very same time, the most important things in my life — nurturing my marriage, raising teens, using my gifts and talents to serve God — all felt like they were crumbling under the weight of how my body

I remember the day I hit my breaking point. I was on my knees in a puddle of tears on the bathroom floor, praying. The only thing I could do was raise my hands to heaven and surrender, releasing everything I thought I knew into God’s hands.

Then, I heard this in the quiet place in my spirit:




But wait...

What do Curiosity, Courage, and Compassion have to do with hormonal shifts?

Everything! Absolutely everything!

As a woman, you’ll go through several different seasons in your life where your hormones shift and your body doesn’t respond the way it used to. The most important thing you can do in those times is listen with curiosity, act with courage, and live with compassion. That’s what I teach to women in my RESTORE Program.

The Three C’s: Your Keys to Change.

When you embody The Three C’s — Curiosity, Courage, and Compassion — you begin to align your mind, body, and spirit, so all parts of you are working on the same side. Then, watch what’s weighing you down start to shift, effortlessly.

Here’s how it works:


Stop settling and start asking yourself why.

There’s a reason behind everything, but you can’t find the answer until you dig deep and ask.

Why am I tired? Why do I feel this way? Why don't I want intimacy with my partner? Why am I moody? Why am I hungry? Why do I have this craving?

When you get curious, ask yourself questions, and start to listen, you learn to recognize the cues your body gives you every day. Then you can respond in a nourishing way and start to become the healthiest version of yourself.


Learn how your body works and what it needs.

It’s not rocket science, it’s just science. But, it takes courage to learn and trust something new, make different choices, and shift your behaviors.

To take ownership of your health, you must learn the simple biological facts about your body and what it requires. Empowered with that knowledge, you can craft a plan to find what works best for you around nutrition, hydration, sleep, self-care, rest, movement, mindfulness, and exercise.

When you make choices based on science, intuition, and emotional intelligence, you feel confident without being overwhelmed or intimidated. Making nourishing, healthy decisions becomes second nature, effortless.


Respond with grace, not judgment.

For the love of God and all things good, stop being the judge and jury over yourself! You deserve space to figure yourself out, explore, fall flat on your face. OR have things go so super amazing that you do flips on the moon. There’s room for everything.

Learning to approach your health journey from a place of self-compassion gives you the freedom and strength to explore, experiment, and try different things. You have to make mistakes, and you get to try again until you find what works best for you.

Remember, everything is an opportunity. All of your experiences (good and bad) become data that informs your next decision.

Curiosity, Courage, and Compassion are the path to RESTORED health.

  • I am Italian and absolutely love red wine, pasta, and hard-crusted bread.

  • My favorite thing in the whole world is to have family and friends around my table sharing a meal, laughter, love, and supporting one another in the messy realities of life as a human.

  • I love walking in nature, especially in the mountains and by the ocean.

  • I am a complete science & psychology nerd. I love learning everything about our bodies, how they work, and how to care for them. I totally geek out on all things psychology and behavior change. We humans are something else! The better I can help women really know themselves, the easier it is to make health easy peasy lemon squeezy.
