I went through a radical hormone shift at age 45 and it went something like this..

One morning I woke up, and everything that used to reside on my rump shifted and landed around my waist, and I couldn’t button my jeans.

Overnight my waist became the landing strip for everything l ate.

(I call this the hormonal shapeshift)

At the flip of the switch, my mood would jump from being on top of the world to wanting to just crawl under the covers.

And the brain fog! Please tell me l’m not the only one that sometimes puts the yogurt in the pantry instead of the fridge when unpacking the groceries.

I ENTERED PERIMENOPAUSE WITHOUT A ROADMAP..

Even though I had been a personal trainer and nutrition coach for 20 years and helped hundreds of women find their best state of health, I was suddenly struggling with my health.

I felt like I had no control over what was happening to my body. And at the very same time, the most important things in my life, marriage, raising teens, and my ability to use my gifts and talents to serve God, all felt like they were crumbling under the weight of how my body felt.

I remember the day I hit my breaking point. I was on my knees in a puddle of tears on the bathroom floor, praying. The only thing I could do was raise my hands to heaven and surrender.

Releasing everything I thought I knew into God’s hands.

Then I heard this in the quiet place in my spirit…
