When My Hormons Shifted My Health Did Too
At 45, my body started changing in ways I couldn’t ignore.
Everything that used to work suddenly stopped — the workouts, the meal plans, even the “healthy habits” I’d taught for years as a NASM-certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.
I knew the drill. I knew what should have worked.
But this time, my body was asking for something different — a slower, wiser kind of care.
After helping hundreds of women find their healthiest rhythm, I suddenly found myself disconnected from my own.
So I did what I’ve always done — I studied harder, worked longer, tried to “fix” myself with more information and more effort.
But underneath all that striving, I was tired.
Not just physically — spiritually. Emotionally. Deeply.
I felt like I had no control over what was happening to my body. At the very same time, the most important things in my life — nurturing my marriage, raising teens, using my gifts and talents to serve God — all felt like they were crumbling under the weight of how my body felt.
I remember the day I hit my breaking point. I was on my knees in a puddle of tears on the bathroom floor, praying. The only thing I could do was raise my hands to heaven and surrender, releasing everything I thought I knew into God’s hands.
Then, I heard this in the quiet place in my spirit:
But wait...
What do Curiosity, Courage, and Compassion have to do with women’s health?
Everything. Absolutely everything.
As women, we move through many seasons — times when our hormones, energy, and emotions shift and our bodies no longer respond the way they used to. Those seasons aren’t failures or signs that something’s broken; they’re invitations to pay attention.
When we listen with Curiosity, we begin to understand what our body is asking for.
When we act with Courage, we take the next right step, even when it feels uncertain.
And when we live with Compassion, we give ourselves grace to grow, rest, and heal at the pace God designed.
That’s the foundation of NOURISH — learning to walk in rhythm with your body and your faith, so you can live with energy, peace, and joy in every season.
The Three C’s: Your Keys to Change.
When you embody The Three C’s — Curiosity, Courage, and Compassion — you begin to align your mind, body, and spirit, so all parts of you are working on the same side. Then, watch what’s weighing you down start to shift, effortlessly.
Here’s how it works:
Healing Begins When You Get Curious, Not Critical
Curiosity is where healing begins.
Instead of judging your body for what’s not working, start asking gentle questions.
What is my body trying to tell me?
What do I need more of — rest, nourishment, peace, movement, or grace?
When you stay curious, you move from frustration to understanding.
You begin to recognize your body’s daily cues — energy, hunger, mood, cravings — as sacred feedback, not failure.
This is how you start living nourished — one curious question at a time.
Courage Turns Curiosity Into Change
Courage in health isn’t about pushing through — it’s about showing up with an open heart.
It means being willing to learn, to experiment, and to explore new rhythms — even when it feels uncomfortable or unclear.
Courage is what helps you move from knowing to doing, from fear to faith.
It’s choosing to trust that your body can change, that God is guiding you, and that the small steps you take today will lead to lasting transformation.
When you have courage, you stop striving for perfect and start growing through practice — one gentle experiment, one brave “yes,” at a time.
Compassion Paves the Way for Long-Term Health
Compassion is where transformation takes root.
When you stop judging your body and start extending grace, everything begins to shift.
The moment you replace frustration with kindness, you create space for healing — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Compassion invites you to see your body the way God does: not as a project to fix, but as a masterpiece to care for.
It’s the gentle reminder that progress isn’t perfect, and healing doesn’t happen in a straight line.
When you respond with compassion, you build trust with your body, peace in your mind, and freedom in your spirit.
This is where NOURISH becomes a way of life — grace over guilt, love over judgment, growth over striving.
Curiosity, Courage, and Compassion are the path to NOURISHED health.

Behind the Scenes...
I am Italian and absolutely love red wine, pasta, and hard-crusted bread.
My favorite thing in the whole world is to have family and friends around my table sharing a meal, laughter, love, and supporting one another in the messy realities of life as a human.
I love walking in nature, especially in the mountains and by the ocean.
I am a complete science & psychology nerd. I love learning everything about our bodies, how they work, and how to care for them. I totally geek out on all things psychology and behavior change. We humans are something else! The better I can help women really know themselves, the easier it is to make health easy peasy lemon squeezy.
